Antiques expert PAUL MARTIN will return to Bowood House for a second time in an exclusive morning on Saturday, September 6th.
Paul, an antiques specialist who made his mark presenting television shows like “Flog It!”, “Make Me A Dealer”, “Britain's Hidden Heritage”, and “Antiques Road Trip”, will share his experience on TV and antiques.
Paul, who also works as Head of Valuations at Henry Aldridge & Son Ltd, will value antiques visitors may wish to bring along, followed by a Q&A and book signing of PAUL MARTIN: “My World of Antiques”.
As part of the exclusive morning event, there will be a presentation of objects from Bowood House collections, selected by Dr Lizzie Rogers, Curator and Archivist, and Lord Simon Kerry, author of “Lansdowne: The Last Great Whig”.
Mr Martin said:-
“Bowood House is a spectacular and historically important privately owned house that has been owned by the Fitzmaurice family since 1754”.
“It has a fascinating history and a profound architectural eloquent statement. It is one of the finest country estates in Wiltshire, UK”.
“Following my previous filming of 'Flog It!' and other shows at the site, I am thrilled to have been invited to visit again”.
“The family's collection of historical treasures, including Queen Victoria's wedding chair, interiors designed by Robert Adam, and extensive 2000 acres of parkland designed by Lancelot Capability Brown, is one of its many fascinating treasures”.
“If you're available, please join us. You won't be disappointed”.
